DESCRIPTION:The Salisbury City Band will be hosting its annual &#39\;Slow&n
 bsp\;Melody&nbsp\;Competition&#39\; on&nbsp\;Sunday 1 June\, 2025.\n\nCurr
 ently this event is a solo competition for&nbsp\;brass instruments&nbsp\;o
 nly&nbsp\;and those who play in a concert band&nbsp\;are encouraged to ent
 er the orchestral sections (i.e french horn and trumpet).\n\nSchool studen
 ts are encouraged to participate under the junior&nbsp\;sections. Students
  looking for performance experience\, but are not registered with a band\,
  are welcome to represent their school.\n\nAny Slow Melody 2024 trophy win
 ners are urged to return their trophies either before or at the event\, or
  to please make contact with the Salisbury City Band secretary to arrange 
 a drop-off time before the contest.\n\nFor entry forms\, documentation\, a
