Port Lincoln City Band
URGENTLY REQUIRED - TRUMPETERS After the retirement of our long standing Trumpeter and the upcoming loss of another trumpeter in June, the PLCB now has a big brass hole! Trumpeters/ Cornet players are especially invited to come and have a go with the PLCB Monday nights at the rear of the Civic Hall, Washington St entrance at 7.30pm. Under the direction of Mike Hester.
Adult learners are encouraged to attend Learners Band on Monday nights at 6.15pm to 7.15pm. Brass instruments are available for Learners to use. Cost $5 per week


Mitcham City Brass, a very active concert & ‘C’ grade contesting band, has vacancies for the following instruments.

- Solo, 1st & 2nd Tenor Horn
- Eb Tuba

VACANCIES - ONKAPARINGA CITY CONCERT BAND
The Onkaparinga City Concert Band is a thriving, vibrant and friendly concert band, which is now in its 33rd year. S.A. Champions in A grade 2008, the Band has three constituent bands.
The Concert Band, the Training Band for those still perfecting their instrumental techniques, for younger and 'young again' late starters and provides opportunities to take up second/third instruments; and the Big Band (swing band)
The Band runs an instrument hire scheme, with quality instruments available at below commercial prices, and owns a full suite of quality percussion instruments. The Band also has a support group, road crew and quality purpose built equipment transport trailer.
The Band has a full calendar of engagements, at state and community level, and holds a very successful camp in March each year, to which families are also welcome to join in the fun.
The Band welcomes players of ALL CONCERT BAND INSTRUMENTS and currently is welcoming new members, and exchange students for short term membership. Very affordable membership rates; concessions apply.

The Unley Concert Band is one of the most successful community bands in South Australia, performing a full programme of concerts, contests (A Grade in SA, B Grade at Nationals), and tours each year. The Band is preparing for the 2009 Nationals in Sydney and a major tour to France and Belgium in April, followed by a full schedule of concerts and contests. Exciting plans are now being made for 2010 and beyond.

The Unley Concert Band is currently seeking expressions of interest from players of all woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments to join this successful banding team. In particular, players are especially required for the following positions:
