The Port Lincoln City Band is a concert band that provides music for the Pt Lincoln and Lower Eyre Peninsula Communities at Community events, in concert and just for fun. The PLCB is directed by Mr Stephen Campbell, leading the band to play a variety of music styles for the enjoyment of all.
Rehearsals are held at the Studio, at the Rear of the Civic Hall, Washington St, Pt Lincoln at 7.30pm to 9.30pm. Some instruments are available for hire when joining the band, if required.
The Band plays at community events such as Tunarama, Australia Day Ceremony and citizens breakfast, Anzac Day services, Remembrance Day services, Caledonian Society Flag Raising, and Christmas Carols. The band plans regular concerts with other local groups and has performed with the Pt Lincoln Singers, Sing Australia, LEPSH Compass. The Band has played at Relay for Life events and is available for other organisations’ events
