  Bandamonium Festival
This special festival, created by the Pt Lincoln City Band was a wonderful success on the June long weekend.
SABA president Kevin Cameron visited and worked with music students from St Josephs Primary School, Pt Lincoln High & Poonindie Primary School during the week. Several of them joined in the whole day workshop on the Saturday; a huge effort by Kevin and the musicians of all ages & stages. DECS Instrumental Music Service teachers Nick Vladkoff & Anna Lester based in Pt Lincoln, generously attended and supported the students, along with SABA committee member Sonia Radford (also DECS IMS teacher)
The final rehearsal went smoothly on the Sunday; and the keen audience of about 100 were thrilled at the stunning performance by their local community band and featured musicians. All credit to the hard working committee & families of the band for the workshops, the fun quiz night, the food/ accommodation etc. Outstanding sponsorship for local businesses made the whole weekend even better.
