Our State Championships provide a wonderful opportunity for member bands and players to perform music that will test them in a friendly competition format. It also provides a unique opportunity for audiences to hear our bands at their very best, and to see what SA banding has to offer.
This year the Band Championships are being held at Vogue.Theatre, Belair Rd, Mitcham.
Dates
27 July (9am-5pm) - Band Championships, Vogue Theatre, Belair Rd, Mitcham
Dates for the Solo & party Championships and a Marching event will be advised soon.
On Saturday 27th July, we will hold the stage competition in the traditional format of "Hymn, Test, Stage March". All bands, both concert & brass, will perform in the one venue and all standard percussion will be provided.
