2018 South Australian State Band ChampionshipsOur State Championships provide a wonderful opportunity for member bands and players to perform music that will test them in a friendly competition format. It also provides a unique opportunity for audiences to hear our bands at their very best, and to see what SA banding has to offer.
This year the contest is being held in three sections on three separate days. The On-Stage Band Competition and the Solo and Ensemble Competition are proudly sponsored by Size Music. In an exciting initiative, the Derringers Music Marching Championship is being held at the Showgrounds on the last day of the Royal Adelaide Show. We are looking forward to this year’s marching being the public spectacle it always deserves to be. Thank you to Size Music and Derringers Music for their generous and ongoing support.
